A Freebie, and 4 new kits.

Monday, September 15, 2008

I'm terrible, aren't I? I just go AWOL without warning, and then you guys all feel like spanking me, don't you? (hmmm, on second thought, maybe I just do it for the spankings, what do you think?)

Aaaanyway, I debuted at SBG on September the 1st, and I've been having a blast! It's been such a wonderful experience, I'm thrilled to have my Studio open! Plus Megs is there to hold my hand, which has been a major help!
And I kicked it off in the best possible way, with 3 (yes, THREE) spanking new collabs!

The first one with Megs (none other than the flergs, as my husband would say) is called Squeeee!:

I went a tad overboard on this one, and made 7 additional alphas, available individually or as an 8 alpha pack:

Then I teamed up with my friend Nicole, of the Sugarplum Paperie, and thought people might enjoy a glass of Chilled Wine:

Finally, my friend Franziska Altmann and I got together to bring you some cardboard-y goodness in the form of Free Spirit:

BUT, that's not all! After all of these collabs, I went out and made a kit of my own, brand new - Kiss and Tell, debuting today at SBG:

and then I just had to go and make a matching Kiss and Tell freebie for you guys:

And, because it's been so long since I've blog, here's a coupon to pick up Kiss and Tell with a 20% discount:

The code is KissingGame (in case the image decides to go missing).

Whew! I really shouldn't go this long without blogging, I'm exhausted just by the sheer length of this post!

Who are they, you ask? Well, their shops will be going live on Friday, but they're contributing to Mango Tango as well, so you'll get a sneak peek sooner! And don't forget to show off the gorgeous LOs you create with it at our gallery!

Ok, here's my share at last:

A Mother's Love

Friday, May 9, 2008

Hi everyone!

This was supposed to have gone live HOURS ago, but I'm late as usual. I was Alice in Wonderland's white rabbit on a former lifetime, I'm sure!

Anyway, better late than never, so here is my freshly made contribution to the Sunshine Girls (and Guy!) Mother's Day Freebie Collab! Moms are special, amazing people, so this is a little something to help you celebrate them with!

Here is my share of A Mother's Love. Enjoy!:

And you can find all the links to all the other Sunshine Girls' blogs on the Sunshine Blog! How easy is that?

We hope you enjoy using this kit to celebrate the special people in your life. Be sure to stop by the Sunshine Gallery and share your layouts with us! There's even a special new category, just for you: A Mother's Love Gallery. Can't wait to see your creations in there!

Happy scrapping!

Friday, March 21, 2008

Welcome to the Sunshine Sweets 1st Annual Easter Egg Hunt!" The Sunshine Girls (and surprise... we've added MY Mr. Sunshine to our little designer group) hope you enjoy our newest collaborative freebie "Sunshine Sweets".

In the spirit of a traditional Easter Egg hunt we've decided to send you on a little, and VERY easy, hunt for our freebies! Simply click on my egg and download my freebie... inside your download will be my portion of "Sunshine Sweets" along with a folder with your next egg and the link to the blog of another Sunshine Girl (or guy! LOL) just follow that link and click on THEIR egg...their download will contain the link for the next blog... and so on and so on...

Oh! and what would be an Easter hunt without the GOLDEN EGG?? Somewhere during your hunt, you will download the Golden Egg, this link will take you to somewhere where you've NEVER been before, someplace NEW and VERY exciting!! This new place will have a great surprise for you (and only you, our loyal egg hunters)! This surprise will also contain a link that will help you continue on your hunt until at last your journey brings you back to my little blog... where your hunt will be complete!

No hurry...all of our links will be active for plenty long enough for you all to find your eggs, crack them open and enjoy your sweets in time for Easter! So, get busy...have fun and have a great Easter!!!

Here's what my portion looks like:

You can download it by clicking on my lovely, gorgeous egg, made by Shauna, of Pineapple Plantation Designs, and beautified by No Less Than The Flergs!

Please Read!! One of our sunshine girls has had an emergency and we're unsure if her links will be active by the time you get there... If for any reason you come to a site that doesn't yet have it's links posted or if those links don't yet work... PLEASE just be patient...this is a really complicated matter with all of our different time zones! The links WILL eventually (and by eventually, I mean as quickly as we possibly can) be corrected or posted!.... Remember this is fun!!

Love Actually - At last!

Sunday, February 17, 2008

First of all, and before I give you your well-deserved freebie, I want to send out a huge THANK YOU to all the lovely comments you left me here on the blog. They made me feel so appreciated, I got a warm fuzzy feeling inside.

I ended up missing my son's party at the park, that was one of the worse days for me. Now I'm at the point where the pain is completely gone, as well as the infection, but I'm not 100% out of the woods yet, because my eardrums are still sort of glued inside. I'm under strict instructions to chew a lot of gum (!) and blow my nose often, even if it's dry, to help make my eardrums pop and, if all goes well, that will be the end of it. If all goes less than well, though, they'll have to do a kind of small surgery, or so I'm told. Here's trusting in the power of the almighty chewing gum!

On other news, I am planning on having a CT Call - probably a CT Challenge, to borrow the idea from my fried Flergs - in the near future, I just need to get a few things back on track.

Now, finally, here is Love Actually:

Enjoy your freebie!

My share of Love Actually will be delayed :(

Thursday, February 7, 2008

Hi everyone!

I know you're all probably tired of hitting the refresh button on my blog, coming from one of the collab girls' blog, and wondering where on Earth is my share. The truth is, it won't be available today.

I fell ill at the beginning of last week, but it was mild enough not to bother me. It was a pesky viral infection that David, our youngest boy, caught and promptly dealt with in a few days. Apolo had it, hubby had it, I had it... it was annoying, but nothing much. Then, by Saturday, I felt an enormous pain in my right ear, just after blowing my nose, but it went away after a few minutes, so I thought nothing of it.

Monday morning I woke up with the ear pain again and, this time, it just wouldn't go away. Hubby took me to the hospital, they misdiagnosed me, mis-medicated me, it spread to both ears, I had to rush to the hospital again and, after two shots, the pain finally went away, but I'm partially deaf for the time being. Yesterday, since although the pain was gone, the unrelenting pressure in my ears wasn't, I called to a different doctor. Turns out I should be taking an additional med, only no one had seen fit to tell me that before.

Fast forward to today and, in addition to the stupid pressure inside my ears and the partial deafness, I puked my guts out after taking the antibiotic. I feel tempted to say this can't get any worse, but don't want to jinx it. Yesterday was Apolo's 10th birthday, and I couldn't enjoy it with him; the party will be Saturday at the park, and I'm beginning to fear Vasco (hubby) will just have to take the kids without me. I'm beginning to feel slightly desperate.

What, I hear you ask, does this have to do with your promised freebie? Well, I didn't get to finish it. I swear I tried to get it ready, even gave it an extra push yesterday, but it was turning out to be a rush job and, freebie or not, I don't want to give you substandard designs. I will finish it as soon as I feel slightly better, I promise!

For now, here are the links to the rest of this amazingly beautiful collab freebie, and I really am sorry for the delay!

A few of you requested that our Whimsical Wonderland logo be turned into an alpha, and we just couldn't say no! They'll be showing up in the next few days, so check back.

This one was definitely a team effort! The original logo was my idea, using Flergs' (gorgeous!) glitter styles. Then Ellie told me the alphas had been requested, so I made them in and asked her to cut them up! Amanda decided to join in on the alpha-cutting fun!

Here it is, Whimsical Wonderland Bonus Alpha #1: Red. Don't forget to drop by the girls' blogs and leave them some love!
