I'm a Teacher's Pet! With a freebie to boot!

Friday, August 1, 2008

Yup, I (and 100 other people, lol) joined Funky Playground Design's Teacher's Pet program. And in the nick of time, too! I joined a day and a half ago, and we're an hour and a half from deadline! Whew, talk about cutting it close!

You have to be registered at FPD's gallery to view the entries, and you have to register to FPD's newsletter - http://www.funkyplaygrounddesigns.com/newsletter/ - to get the password to unzip.
Anyway, here's my freebie mini kit for this first round, it's called Cloud 9:

On other news, my friend Flergs (or, as the hubby likes to call her, None Other Than Flergs) also has a freebie for you on her blog - http://flergalicious.blogspot.com/ - she has recemtly split her old blog into two, with this one being the design one, so update your bookmarks for freebies!

Isn't it gorgeous?

I Opened My Grab Bag!

Saturday, July 12, 2008

Er... that was actually a week ago, I probably should have said something sooner, eh? Go me! (Insert eye rolling smilie here.) Well, in my defense, I did warn you I was an idiot a few posts back, lol.

Anyway, this is what was included in my grab bag, now available separately (Pics are clickable):

In warm autumn colours, Autumn Sunset is an understated mini kit perfect for making your photos the true focus of your layouts. Autumn Sunset includes:
6 Individually Textured Papers.
1 Clothespin.
1 Tag Frame.
1 Journal Piece.
1 Autumn Leaf.
2 Polaroid Frames.
1 Ribbon Flower.
2 Ribbon Stitching.
1 Rub On.
2 Swirl Stitches.
1 Full Alpha with Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers, Symbols, Special and International Characters, and full sheets as well as individual characters for your commodity. A total of 164 characters.

Perfectly matching Discovery: the Brush Alpha and Discovery: the Alpha, Discovery sends us back to another time, of faded, inkstained maps and ancient photographs. Discovery Includes:
6 Individually Textured Paper Maps (12x12" @ 300dpi).
1 Worn Bound Book.
2 Tied Buttons.
1 Old Envelope.
2 Frames.
1 Worn Frame.
1 Journal Piece.
1 Rope.
1 Stitches.
2 Round Stitches.

With an old yet contemporary feel, the Discovery Alpha proves to be very versatile while coordinating perfectly with the Discovery mini kit.

With rather large letters, this brush alpha is very flexible and allows for a multitude of uses. Individual PNGs included for non-Photoshop users. Upper and lowercase only.

A Spring-feel brown alpha that's floral without being necessarily girly! Uppercase, lowercase, numbers, symbols and special characters.

14 individually textured papers in all 7 colours of the rainbow, 7 bright and 7 more muted ones, peeled back to reveal the cardboard underneath. Is beauty really only skin deep?

A Scrabble-like bead alpha perfect for fun LOs! Uppercase, numbers, a blank and some symbols, as well as a full sheet.

12 individually textured multicolored papers decorated with gradients and bright splashes of color. Bold, colorful and daring, these papers will make your LO come to life!

12 curls that match the Unfettered paper pack. Bold, colourful and daring, these curls will make your LO come to life!

This bonus was also included in the grab bag, but it's now no longer available:

Whew! As Bugs Bunny would say, & that's all, folks!

My first ever grab bag! Plus QPs, a new kit and... a FREEBIE!

Friday, June 27, 2008

Yup, I've been wanting to make a grab bag ever since I started designing, and I finally did! Exclusively at Sunshine Studio Scraps:Available for a limited time only (June-27th to July 3rd), this is my first grab bag ever.

Inside you'll find 9 as of yet unreleased products and a little bonus, all for $3!

Note that the coupon does not work on the grab bag!

Then I have some Quick Pages made out of Cinnamon Breeze by the lovely and talented Franziska Altmann (also exclusive to Sun Studio):

And, finally, exclusively at my Elemental Scraps store, there's Neon Tantrum, my latest kit:

Also available as separate elements and paper packs.

Finally (whew!) here's the coordinating freebie!

I'm an idiot!

Monday, June 16, 2008

I'm an idiot!

Yup, I am! What would you guys say if I told you that I have been so out of it that I completely forgot to blog that the Sunshine Girls (and Guy, let's not forget my lovely hubby who has been posting here so that my blog won't just fade into oblivion!) finally managed to open shop - Sunshine Studio Scraps? You'd say "You idiot!" in your best Dr. House voice, wouldn't you? Yup, I would too. I have, actually, lol! I know I got Vasco to post that we were opening but, after that, I didn't say a word! What did I tell you? I'm an idiot! ;)

So, to make it up to you guys, I bring you both a freebie and a coupon. But, first, let me show you my new fan blinkie, and also what has been keeping me busy:

My wonderful friend and head CT Jeannette, aka Nett, aka Lady_Grundlefunk, is a hidden blinkie making marvel! Look what she made for me, isn't it gorgeous? I'm in love!

As far as new products are concerned, let's start with my Cinnamon Breeze kit:

Also available in separate Elements and Papers packs.

The Alpha in Cinnamon Breeze is a multicoloured one, and I liked the end result so much I ended up making an 8 Alpha Pack, each in their own colour. Did I mention I'm an alphaholic?

Next are boxes, boxes and more boxes. But, because boxes don't like to be alone, they come with tears, curls, rubber bands and even custom drop shadows in separate pngs. Oh, and some clusters too. Build-A-Box 1:

And Build-A-Box 2:

Or you can get Build-A-Box 1 & 2 together and save yourself $1:

"Enough with the product previews already, where is my coupon?" I hear you saying.

Go to my Sunshine Studio Scraps store at any time between now and the end of the month and enter the code YouIdiot! to get 25% off everything, including CU.

And you have the added benefit of insulting me for not having told you about Sunshine Studio Scraps! You can use it up to twice per person so, in case you use it and forget to get something, you can still grab it at a discount! Enjoy your freebie, and I'll try and pay more attention to my poor neglected blog, promise

"And the freebie?" Here it is, it's a mini kit that coordinates with my collab with the lovely Studio Flergs, What Dreams May Come. You can click on the image or on the download link to get it.

Goodbye Scraphead, Hello Elemental Scraps!

I hope you enjoy the mini kit Circle Line, I had a blast making it, and there is a full kit based on the same pallette in the works! As usual, Scrap for Hire Friendly.
