I have been wanting to create a retro 70s disco kit for so long now, and always kept postponing. Then, finally, when I wasn't even trying to make it happen, it did! And thus, Full Circle was born!



Then the amazing Franziska Altmann made me this gorgeous Quick Page Album, consisting of 12 12x12" Pages @ 300 dpi.

One Man Show

Here's my hubby in our living room. Talk about multitasking!
This was made entirely with Penny Springmann's gorgeous Rock Star kit. I pretty much begged to be allowed to play with this kit before I got sick, and I'm only now finding the time to play. There are so many photos I want to scrap with it, it's unreal. If anyone knows where I can buy more hours for my day, please let me know, lol! Rock Star was actually the kit that made me fall in love with Penny's style, I love it to bits!

Beginnings

I found this photo of me and Vasco (hubby) holding Apolo when he was such a tiny baby, and I just knew I had to get it scrapped. I have precious few decent photos of Apolo at this age, because I never allowed anyone to use flash, for fear of hurting his eyes, and no one had a good enough camera to take good shots without it.

Then, somewhere along the way, my layout turned into the first page of a bragbook I hope to make, probably all of it using Nicole's Film Noir papers as a base. Aren't they gorgeous?

In addition to the Film Noir paper, I used the flowers, frame, cardboard tag, alpha and paper tear from her Summer Sorbet Elements Pack, and the photo corners and clear plastic tab with paper are freebies on her blog.

Urban Solitude

I never got to tell you, I made it into Lliella's CT!

Back in October, when I started digiscrapping and before I even got this blog, I saw an add for Penny Springmann's CT. My first thought was "don't apply, you'll never make it!". Then she made another post her blog, saying people shouldn't be afraid to apply (she must have been reading my mind!) and I went ahead and applied. Lo and behold, I got a reply saying I had made the January Guest Team!

So, finally, here is my first layout as a Guest CT, with her new kit Be Mine (today on sale for 20%):

Last week there was a party over at Kim b's blog because of her birthday. I went over there, left a comment and, what do you know, I was the lucky winner of any kit I chose from her store.
This was no easy task, because Kim has gorgeous kits, but I ended up choosing the uniquely original Bug-Ing.
